Amy Shark is an alt-pop, Australian singer who hails from Gold Coast, Queensland. Shark is an active musician, having a single EP, and even contributing a song to the soundtrack of the hit movie Love, Simon. Additionally, she announced her album April 9, 2018. The release is set for July 13. She was featured on the cover of Elle magazine. Her music is a comfortable blend of alternative and pop influences. Outside of her life as a musician, Shark attended Southport State High School as a teenager. Shark is also married to Shane Billings.
