We Want 5SOS Back!!

5 Seconds of Summer has made their highly anticipated comeback from their hiatus. The band released their brand new single 'Want You Back' to the public on February 23rd, 2018. The band has returned with a new sound some fans just aren't sure about. There's no doubt this song will be a smash hit in main stream media, but it features very little of their original sound. The band maintains that they are sticking to their roots, just with a more mature sound. Luke, the main vocalist, can be quoted as saying, "We're kind of sick of guitars"(paraphrased from the Zach Sang Show).

This confused many fans, as their original statements made in the early stages of 5 Seconds of Summer was that their main goal was that they wanted to bring guitars back to the radio.

Either way, some fans are digging the new sound that the band has taken, and they sure hope you do too(Michael, especially, as he's gotten the song title tattooed on his inner lip).
