A Headlining Disaster!

Have you ever heard of the band, Pop Evil?

No? I hadn't either until I bought tickets to their Columbus, OH tour date due to the fact that one of my favorite bands, Palaye Royale were opening for them. It seems this was the case for many of the attendants to the Pop Evil tour dates, as most people at the venue were sporting Palaye Royale apparel or dressed like a member of the Royal Council. Now, we've already discussed my personal opinions of Pop Evil's music(or, more specifically, their newest album), so I already was not looking forward to their set.

Sadly, I did not need to stay for their set in order to get a glimpse of their onstage presence.

They interrupted Palaye's set a numerous amount of times, pulling shit such as dumping a bottle of baby powder on Emerson's drums and pulling out Sebastian's amp. The immaturity and lack of respect they showed their openers was astonishing. You could see the frustration on the members of Palaye Royale's faces as they tried to continue their set... And succeeded. Even with all of the shit that Pop Evil pulled, Palaye Royale put on the best show I had ever seen.

Remington was all over the stage, Sebastian came into the crowd, playing surrounded by his fans, and Emerson played the best drums I had ever heard(even with all of the baby powder).

I look forward to seeing Palaye Royale twice more over the summer(Especially so, considering Pop Evil won't be there to shit all over everyone's good time).
